Summer 2009 has been good to the Ohio Valley Freedom Fighters, with some great people coming from the Tea party’s and church services, and most importantly, through personal, face 2 face networking. Our website, www.ovfreedomfighters.com is up and running and getting better every day, thanks to our hardworking webmaster, S. Sgt. Ken LeVay. We’re coordinating with other militias in the region, for communications, and sharing training assets and opportunities. In fact, we will be hosting and providing security for a regional/national commanders meeting to be held in Oct., during the KCR mg shoot.

Now that fall is coming, the weather cooling and vacations ending, I believe we are in a very good position to strengthen, multiply and become better organized and much more professional. Everybody keep up their attendance at meetings and recruit, recruit, recruit! You have been asking for more training events, so notice that we are working and providing that. I ask everybody to make it a priority to monitor the website at least every day or two for updates and news. We all have to be aware of the threats posed by the FLU fiasco, possible forced inoculations, gun bills, bank holidays, etc, all which could lead to martial law being declared!

Wear you uniform with pride to show people that they are not alone in their worries about eroding Liberty, and that we are an organization worth supporting and joining!

The patriot Militia movement has been growing steadily this year, not only here in the Ohio Valley, but in most other areas in the nation also. Between a growing police state socialist government and a faltering economy, not to mention all your efforts at recruiting new Freedom Fighters, we grow stronger every day. So we must keep up the efforts and perhaps increase them because right now the time is right. So right, that it is conceivable that the "powers- that- be" might consider a false flag terror event, such as the OKC bombing, or maybe smaller like blaming an organized citizens group for something like the slaying of the Census worker in eastern Ky. Working with the mainstream media, "they" could begin a storm of negative propaganda meant to demonize the patriot, militia and even the grass roots Tea Party movement, in order stop or slow our growth. We saw this in 1995, but I hope we are all more mature and will stay our course this time. Steady as she goes, and full speed ahead in our mission to "protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies". Lets NOT be caught like a deer in the headlights and this time we must understand that "they" will do and or sacrifice anything or anybody to maintain their grip on power! Remember "our cause is just, American, Christian, and constitutionally MANDATED! WE WILL BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY, so keep your chin up even if others criticize or don’t understand. As time goes on, the righteousness of what we do will become apparent to more and more people....

Soon after the incident in Austin, Texas today, mainstream media pundits were quick to proclaim Joe Stack a right-wing extremist. Others referred to him as a homegrown terrorist. Currently, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLLC:http://www.splcenter.org/) has posted an article titled IRS Long a Target of Antigovernment Extremists. Mark Potak, Director of the SPLC Intelligence Project, had this to say today:

“This attack comes amid the absolutely explosive growth of the right-wing militias and the larger antigovernment ‘Patriot’ movement, which includes thousands of so-called tax protesters who believe the federal income tax is illegal”

Additionally he stated:

“There is a populist rage out there about what is seen as the coddling of rapacious elites, like the mortgage bankers who kept receiving multimillion dollar bonuses, even as working Americans seem to keep losing more and more.”

While the Ohio Valley Freedom Fighters (OVFF) do not condone the violence Mr. Stack used to effect restitution of his grievances, we do empathize with the growing frustration felt by many Americans in the face of government corruption, loss of freedom and the over all unconstitutionality of the current federal system.

The Militia in general and the OVFF specifically, is not an “anti-government hate group”. The unorganized militia is defined by Section 311 of US Code, Title 10, entitled, "Militia: composition and classes" in its entirety: Read it. You’ll discover that Militia members are not hate-filled thugs bent on anarchy and destruction of the federal government; quite the contrary.

We are freedom-loving Americans who are not afraid to stand up for our constitutional rights. We are believers in the Second Amendment and practice responsible gun ownership. We are family. We work, play and pray in every community. In times of crisis, we are there to lend a hand. Whether it’s helping a neighbor pull a car from the snow, or going to Haiti in support of ongoing medical relief efforts.

And perhaps most importantly in this day and age, we are vigilant and prepared to stand against tyranny in any form.

Yes, our numbers are growing. Yes, Americans are becoming more frustrated by the day over government’s poor management of our resources and intrusion into our personal lives. But why is questioning our government considered “hate-filled” and dangerous? Dangerous to whom?

The OVFF stands ready to lend humanitarian aide to our members’ communities throughout the Ohio Valley. Just as we stand ready to defend ourselves, our families, and our country from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

The recent attack, by the Federal Government is "their" strategic move to stop the growth of the Citizen's Militias who are giving We the People hope for the future. WE do not believe the validity of these charges, as I, and others in the OVFF have met face to face with some of the Hutaree, including their leader and found them to be fine Christian Patriots.We saw/heard no mention of hatred for any other races or religeon. They never mentioned illegal items, offensive plans or such. The trip they were to make to Kentucky, [a central meeting location in the midwest] mentioned in the indictment, was for the express purposes of PREVENTING accidental armed engagements with law enforcement personnel. There would have been NO reason for IED's at that communications seminar.
  Anyone in America , that ever said, or decided that, if the so called Gov. passed certain laws, such as the banning of firearms, would not obey and possibly fight back are guilty of the broad charge of "Seditious Conspiracy" that the Hutaree is charged with. Our Government is the Constitution, and to resist those who subvert or pervert it is our duty as Freedom Loving Americans, a nation born in Rebellion, and whose rights are preserved in the Declaration of Independence.
   The alledged conspiracy to make an assault on, or murder a LE officer is undoubtedly a plan by a federal informant/agent provacateur that was mentioned to someone in order to
make a case against the real, and innocent members of the Hutaree. In the mid 1990's, a man in Georgia, Mr. Bob Starr, was charged and convicted for the BATF, planting explosives or devices on his property without his knowledge The Gov., under oath admitted to this and to what they called "Site Enhancement". If the government participated in such entrapment and evidence manufacture once then it is possibly to be likely in the Hutaree's case. The Judge in the Randy Weaver case, found the Govt. to be guilty of fabrication evidence and Lying also. A Liar cannot ever be trusted to tell the truth.
   Any 13 year old can go to Utube, or Wikipedia to get info on making pipe bombs, so it is unlikely that some Militia, especially one such as the Hutaree would attempt to sell the same on a insecure Internet. Since the Hutaree were so security conscious as to have their own code language, we doubt they would be guilty of the allegations.
   If a person is ever in possesion of firearms while charged with a crime, the added BS charges of possesing an illegal weapon are added on , and since they are in possesion of a weapon, whatever the crime, it is considered a crime of violence. The Hutaree are just charged with Conspiracy, not an actual crime. This is a roller coaster of Injustice, brought into motion by the Gov. and prosecution.
   IN conclusion, we the Ohio Valley Freedom Fighters, believe that the current attack and charges made against the Hutaree Militia are probably mainly withour merit, and are intended to scare the Citizenry into not joining the more mainstream, public Militias such as ours. It is our understanding that the fact that the Hutaree is a Christian Militia is being used to demonize them, and while we dont know what their particular beliefs regarding anything other than the Constitution are, freedom of religeon and association are protected by the Bill Of Rights. And we support Freedom for all Americans, regardless of Religeon, race, sex or age. People are innocent until proven guilty, and sometimes still are ... Colonel Kevin Terrell/OVFF
